About The Naked Sheep

The Naked Sheep was inspired by owner Lorena Ladan.  She is a knitting addict, lover of shoes and friend to animals.  This crazy kid gave up her glamorous, big corporation and weekly jet-setting lifestyle to share her love of yarn and passion for fashion with you.  For the full story on Lorena, click here.

Knitting is going through a revival. Gone are the granny squares, ugly sweaters or hats that never fit.  Yarn has resurfaced through better technology, in a wider range of colours than ever and in endless fiber combinations.  This translates into one thing: possibilities.  Whether you are a veteran looking for inspiration, a novice looking for guidance or simply want to learn to knit, The Naked Sheep is the place for you.

Entice yourself in our selection of fine yarns: Rowan, Debbie Bliss, Colinette, Noro, Gedifra, Filatura di Crosa and Fleece Artist.  Have a seat by the window and browse through the latest pattern books and magazines.  Let our yummy yarns inspire your next project. Or, pick up a knitting gadget or one of our fabulous handmade silk bags.  Whatever your taste or mood, we’re here to satisfy your every fiber need.

Thank You

My dream of the Naked Sheep would not have been possible if it hadn’t been for major help from a lot of people! I would like to thank all of my friends and family who have helped me along the way and who continue to help.
